It all started from the Rue Panners Halluin where a handful of faithful have in a
initially rented a piece of 10 m2.

initially rented a piece of 10 m2.

The location was quickly changed to buy, and by the grace of God, the faithful were able to acquire the local Rue de la Pannerie.
This allowed them to do little work to have a minimum of comfort.
By the grace of God, the Muslim community has grown rapidly and this place became too small to accommodate everybody in good condition.
In 2000, the Muslim Association of Rue de la Pannerie and the Muslim Association of Home Sonacotra rue de Lille have decided to join forces to buy a former warehouse into, by the grace of God, a place that can unite the entire Muslim community of Halluin and its environs (Bousbecque, Roncq, Menen in Belgium ...).
The mosque of Panners Street was bought by the urban community of Lille into a nearby parking for residents.
Today we welcome a dozen nationality.
