Halluinoises associations in January 2000.
Since her creation, the association is involved in building the new mosque with an area of 4200 m2 including:

- The prayer hall (men & women) with a capacity of 1200 faithful.
- A school for learning the Arabic language and religious education.
- An institute providing advanced training in learning the Koran, jurisprudence and literature.
Through its activities the Association of Muslim Halluin works to the emergence of Muslim educated and engaged in their civic life:
- Conferences, debates, training days on spirituality and issues of contemporary society are organized by the Youth Department.
- Besides the Friday sermon translated into French, courses are offered on a weekly exegesis of the Koran on Saturday and Sunday jurisprudence.
- Sports activities, cultural outings to meetings of Muslim France allow the development of youth.
- A website allows the public access to online courses, to better understand the association and follow his progression.
Projects of the Muslim Association of Halluin to the principal 2009-2012, are primarily:
- Finishing work with the third part of the project, construction of administrative building.
- The second priority is education: A special effort will be directed towards religious education and active citizenship by developing partnerships with other faculties and institutes so that the training provided recognized qualifications.
